Automated Merch (“we,” “us,” “our”) explains here how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use automatedmerch.com, book a fishing trip with us, or receive our text messages.

SMS / Text Messaging

Program. Automated Merch (automatedmerch.com) is an online fishing-trip booking service and the sender of this transactional messaging program. If you book a fishing trip on automatedmerch.com and opt in, we send you text messages about your own reservation only. Every message comes from our brand, Automated Merch (for example, “Automated Merch: You’re booked! Your fishing trip is confirmed.”).

Message types. A booking confirmation, trip reminders and details, and one post-trip fish-report link. Strictly transactional; related only to your own booking. All links use our own automatedmerch.com domain.

How you opt in. You provide your mobile number and check an SMS consent box at the time of booking. The box is unchecked by default and separate from any other checkbox on our automatedmerch.com booking form. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out & help. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe (you will get a one-time confirmation and no further texts). Reply HELP for help, or email support@automatedmerch.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No sale or third-party sharing of your mobile information. No mobile information — including your phone number, SMS opt-in, and consent — will be shared with or sold to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with the service providers that transmit the messages you requested (our messaging platform and carriers), solely to deliver those messages, and with no one else.

Information we collect

Contact details you provide (name, email, mobile number, booking details) and standard technical/usage data. SMS opt-in consent is recorded with the date, time, and method of consent.

How we use it

To confirm and service your booking, send the transactional messages described above, provide support, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention & your rights

We keep your information as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and delete it on request where not legally required to retain it. Request access, correction, or deletion at Hello@automatedmerch.com.
